Tyson Fury has branded Anthony Joshua “classless” and is hopeful he’s on the end of a shock defeat to Jake Paul on Friday.
Joshua looks to remain on course for a long-awaited showdown with Fury next year, but must first overcome Paul at the Kaseya Center in Miami, live on Netflix.
On Tuesday, the former two-time heavyweight world champion sent a chilling warning to Paul, who is fighting for just the 14th time as a professional.
“Zero part of me [is going to take it easy on him], and it’s not even that it’s Jake Paul,” the 36-year-old told media.
“Do you know I was actually looking at myself today, I’m a very respectful guy, brought up by a good family, but if I can kill you, I will kill you.
“That’s just how I am, and this is just the job I do. So, let’s go.”
Fury, whose younger brother Tommy handed ‘The Problem Child’ a first defeat in February 2023, slammed his long-time rival for the comments in a video posted on social media on Wednesday.
“I’ve just been sent a video of Anthony Joshua talking about if he kills someone, he kills someone in a boxing ring,” Fury said.
“He’s a little bit long in the tooth to be talking like that.
“He’s a 37-year-old at the end of his career fighting a YouTuber, a Disney Channel guy who Tommy (Fury) beat.
“Here’s a fun fact. If I ever come across you, I’m knocking you spark out.
“I ain’t a YouTuber or a man half your size. I am him. The man.

The Morecambe man announced his retirement from the sport in January, but is expected to make a comeback next year, culminating in a long-desired battle with Joshua next summer.
According to the Ring Magazine, which is owned by Saudi Arabian boxing chief Turki Alalshikh, reported that the pair will fight in separate bouts before fighting finally in a Riyadh Season event.
