Andrew Tate vs Chase Demoor – Big Fight Preview & Predictions

Published:

The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium hosts Misfits action this Saturday, and in the main event, new Misfits CEO Andrew Tate challenges Chase Demoor for the heavyweight title.

Rumble air Tate vs Demoor live.

Demoor (5–2-1 KO5) lost on debut to Frankie Freelove for the heavyweight title, but then won it two fights later, outscoring Kelechi Dyke last November.

He then knocked out Tanner Tolman in three in Derby in May, before stopping Natan Marcon in two in Manchester in August.

Demoor has fought in Mexico and Columbia against lesser known opponents in preparation for his clash with Tate.

Tate has never fought in boxing before, but is a former professional kickboxer, and his first act as CEO was to install himself as Demoor’s challenger.

Prediction: It’s likely that Tate will win a hotly-disputed decision in this one to become the new champion.

Tony Ferguson vs Warren Spencer

In the preliminaries, former UFC champion Tony Ferguson has his first professional boxing match, and he can stop Warren Spencer (1-1, KO0) in their middleweight clash.

Ferguson was last in action in Manchester, stopping the highly rated Salt Papi in round three.

Remaining undercard

Carla Jade (3-1, KO0) defends her Misfits lightweight title, and she can outscore debutant Taylor Starling.

Also at lightweight, over six rounds Amado Vargas (13-0, KO6) should be able to turn back the challenge of Deen The Great (1-0, KO1) likely inside schedule.

Middleweight first-timer Neeraj Goyat can win on points against Anthony Taylor (3-3, KO2) and Tai Emery can become the new Misfits middleweight champion with a points victory over fellow debutant Pearl Gonzalez.

Ben Williams (2-1, KO1) can make it a third straight defeat for Nichlmao (0-2) in their clash at welterweight, and professional boxer Joe Laws (15-3, KO5) could find fellow pro Amir Anderson (5-0, KO5) too hot in their middleweight bout.

Anderson should win early.

In an eight-rounder at welterweight, David Lopez (7-0, KO5) can stop Luis Garcia (13-2-1, KO9).

Super welterweight hope Jak Corrie (7-0, KO4) can be a stoppage winner against Yaroslav Mazharov (4-3, KO3), and at middleweight, Sultan Babakhanov (2-0, KO2) can do the same against Arun Antil (12-7-1, KO9).
