Who is replacing Joe Rogan at UFC 325? New broadcast team revealed for ‘Volkanovski vs. Lopes 2’ on Paramount+

Published:

Longtime color commentator Joe Rogan does not travel abroad, so Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will rework its commentary team for the upcoming UFC 325 event on Paramount+, scheduled for Sat., Jan. 31, 2026 at Qudos Bank Arena in New South Wales, Australia.

Jon Anik will handle play-by-play for the majority of the UFC 325 broadcast, with John Gooden calling the “Road to UFC” preliminary bouts earlier in the evening, according to MMA Junkie. Color commentary will be handled by UFC Hall of Famers and former champions Daniel Cormier and Michael Bisping.

Gooden will also serve as roving reporter later in the night, a role typically filled by Megan Olivi.

The official UFC 325 weigh-in show, as well as the pre- and post-fight shows, will stream live from Meta Apex instead of being staged on location in Australia. If only the Paramount+ deal had been worth $8 billion instead of a measly $7.7 billion, then maybe UFC could have afforded the extra airfare.

UFC 325 will be headlined by the featherweight rematch between reigning 145-pound titleholder, Alex Volkanovski, and No. 2-ranked title contender, Diego Lopes. In the UFC 325 co-main event, Dan Hooker and Benoit Saint Denis collide in an all-action lightweight affair.
