Teofimo Lopez and Shakur Stevenson will take center stage for today’s Ring 6 press conference, streaming LIVE from New York City at 3 p.m. ET in the embedded video above. Lopez defends his WBO junior welterweight title against Stevenson in a 12-round showdown this Sat. night (Jan. 31), streaming live on DAZN from inside Madison Square Garden.
The main card begins at 6pm ET, 3pm PT, 11pm GMT. Lopez and Stevenson will make their ring walks at 10.49pm ET, 7.49pm PT, 3.49am GMT.
“I think he’s nervous, and he’s giving off energy as if he’s trying to delude his brain into believing things that are basically not gonna happen,” Stevenson told The Ring. “I just don’t know how he can delude his brain into believing that, when he didn’t make Steve Claggett — that’s his name, Steve Claggett — quit? He didn’t make him quit. He didn’t make George Kambosos quit. He did not make [Vasiliy] Lomachenko quit. So what in the world makes him think that he’s gonna make me quit?”
