Heavyweight boxer Jarrell Miller has been involved in plenty of strange moments over the course of his combat sports career, but Saturday night in New York might be the undisputed champion of them all.

Competing on the Teofimo Lopez vs. Shakur Stevenson undercard at Ring 6, the veteran boxer didn’t just win a fight — he lost his hairpiece in the process. Literally.

During the third round of his bout against Kingsley Ibeh, Miller absorbed enough shots to the head that his toupee began flapping around before partially detaching and revealing a completely bald scalp underneath. Cameras caught everything, and once fans realized what was happening, the moment instantly went viral.

Check the absolutely absurd video below:

Rather than panic, Miller leaned into it. At the end of the round, “Big Baby” ripped the hairpiece off entirely and hurled it into the crowd, spending the rest of the fight rocking a shiny dome with a ring of hair around the sides — looking like Harry from Home Alone when he got his beanie burnt off.

Somehow, the hair fiasco didn’t slow him down. Miller went on to win the fight via split decision (94-96, 97-93, 97-93), improving his record to 27-1-2 and snapping a two-year winless stretch.

Afterward, Miller explained the bizarre situation was the result of a recent chemical mishap at his mother’s house, claiming a mystery shampoo containing “ammonia and bleach” caused him to lose his hair just days earlier. A last-minute toupee was slapped on, only for Ibeh to knock it loose.

Miller, unsurprisingly, laughed it off.

“I’m a comedian,” he said — and on Saturday night, boxing fans everywhere were forced to agree.

“Big Baby” addressed it again once he got to the locker room as well.
