Shakur Stevenson completely outclassed Teofimo Lopez over 12 rounds to win the WBO and Ring super lightweight titles in New York on Saturday.
Stevenson remained unbeaten and became a four-weight world champion with an almost shutout victory over Lopez at Madison Square Garden.
The 28-year-old faced off immediately with Conor Benn after his win and the Newark man is not short of options.

Conor Benn
As of now, Benn has been the most mentioned opponent for a fight with Stevenson next.
They have exchanged words on social media over the last few months following their argument on The Ariel Helwani Show.
Following their first public exchange, Stevenson confirmed he wanted to face Benn on social media.
“I’m gonna pick you apart.

“Too sharp, too much speed, too smart.
“And hitting me with a big shot is gonna be the last thing you do.”
‘The Destroyer’ was last in action in November last year, beating Chris Eubank Jr in their rematch.
He has confirmed an interest in facing the winner of Mario Barrios and Ryan Garcia’s WBC world title fight in February.
Benn has also opened the door to a fight with current WBA welterweight world champion. Rolando Romero.
Benn spoke to IFLTV after their face-off and gave his thoughts on a fight with Stevenson.
“I am here in his city, if he wants it he can get it.
“He is calling for it so no problem we will do it in a stadium back home.
“That will be my first fight back at 147 lbs.

“That sausage Rolly can get it as well, he wanted to have a little go, so no problem let’s have a little go.”
Dalton Smith
Another potential opponent at super lightweight is Dalton Smith.
The Sheffield man fought for his first world honours in January, dethroning Subriel Matias in New York.

Smith was a stellar amateur and has won almost every domestic title possible in his professional career so far.
In an interview with The Ring Magazine, Keyshawn Davis praised Smith.
“Dalton Smith, you lit.
“You got a good little record.

“He’s a great champion.”
Raymond Muratalla
During Raymond Muratalla’s most recent fight, Stevenson spoke on the broadcast and confirmed an interest in going back down to lightweight after the Lopez fight.
Muratalla successfully defended his IBF lightweight world title for the first time.

He bettered amateur sensation Andy Cruz over 12 rounds. If Stevenson is to go back down to lightweight, a fight with ‘Danger’ would make a lot of sense.
Ryan Garcia
Ryan Garcia vs Shakur Stevenson would be a thrilling watch.
A battle of technique and defensive perfection against speed and raw talent.
Garcia is set to fight at welterweight, a division up from where Stevenson fought for the first time – super lightweight.

Following his back-and-forths with Benn, a move up in weight doesn’t seem too unlikely.
Stevenson spoke to The Breakfast Club and revealed just how heavy he would be willing to fight.
“No disrespect, but I would fight him at 154lbs.”
Devin Haney
Another welterweight star that Stevenson may be eyeing a fight with could be WBO world champion, Devin Haney.
Haney shone in Riyadh last time out, dropping and outpointing Brian Norman Jr over 12 rounds.

A fight between Haney and Stevenson would be a real chess match and a tough one to call.
After his win over Lopez, Stevenson claimed close friend Terence Crawford’s jump up two weight classes to outclass Canelo Alvarez inspired him, so seeing Stevenson challenge in a fifth weight class seems likely.
“I had to follow in Bud Crawford’s footsteps.
“He went out there and dominated against Canelo and he went up in weight. He inspired me.”
