Who will get the next featherweight title shot?
We’re going to find out at UFC London on March 21, when No. 1-ranked Movsar Evloev takes on No. 4-ranked Lerone Murphy at O2 Arena, streaming live on the Paramount+ digital network. The winner is expected to challenge Alex Volkanovski for the 145-pound strap at some point later this year.
Evloev, 31, is a flawless 19-0 across his 12-year MMA career with nine of those victories coming inside the Octagon. That includes his decision nod over Aljamain Sterling at UFC 310 at the end of 2024. Similarly, the 34 year-old Murphy remains unbeaten at 17-0-1 and is fresh off a knockout win over Aaron Pico at UFC 319 last summer.
Here’s the “stacked” UFC London lineup:
In addition, Michael Page is dropping back down to the “political” welterweight division.
“Third main event,” Murphy wrote on social media. “This one on home soil. You are in for a treat.”
“I am coming for what’s mine,” Evloev responded.
An important fight for the future of featherweight … who ya’ got?
