As the night moved on to the co-main event, Submission Hunter Pro started to put their black belt titles on the line. Jake Heffernan came in as the lightweight champion but Ray Rodriguez left with the belt around his waist after getting the finish with an arm-triangle choke. Then in the main event, it was the longest match of the night as Dylan Melton and Douglas Hernandez went back and forth over all three rounds. Melton ended the night as the new light-heavyweight champion though; primarily using his excellent guard-work to earn the decision win.
