Leigh Wood vs Josh Warrington 2 – Odds and Betting Guide

Published:

Leigh Wood is a clear favourite to defeat Josh Warrington for a second time in Nottingham this Saturday.

Wood meets Warrington in a grudge rematch at the Motorpoint Arena, live on DAZN.

Wood was losing clearly on the cards when he dramatically floored and halted ‘The Leeds Warrior’ in the seventh round in Sheffield in 2023 to retain his then-WBA featherweight title.

The 37-year-old has home advantage this time, but is coming off a ninth round defeat to Anthony Cacace last May.

Despite this, he is backed at 4/6 to overcome his rival with Bet365 and is expected to achieve this by stoppage at 13/8.

Warrington is also in patchy form, winning one of his last four contests.

The 35-year-old appeared to call time on his career after losing to the aforementioned Cacace in September 2024, but the two-time world champion returned in April with a routine points victory over Asad Asif Khan.

Warrington is priced at 6/5 with Bet365 to gain revenge over Wood, with his best shot seen on points at 12/5.

The bill is aptly named ‘Last Man Standing’ with defeat surely spelling the end of the line for the loser here.
