Billy Nelson revealed he no longer trains Lewis Crocker.
Crocker became a world champion under Nelson in a successful run of performances.
Nelson and Crocker first teamed up in 2023 where ‘The Croc’ stopped Joel Julio in the sixth round of their clash in Glasgow.
Responding to a question on X Nelson revealed the split with Crocker.
“Lewis has moved on to a coach in London so I no longer know what going on with him.
“But I hope he gets a voluntary defence in front of his fans in Belfast.”
As a team Crocker and Nelson picked up eight wins from eight with four coming by stoppage.

Some standout wins include the two fights with Paddy Donovan with an explosive build-up and fights to match.
Donovan was disqualified in the eighth round of the first contest with a shot after the bell.
Most had Crocker losing up until the stoppage and expected Donovan to win the rematch on September 13th.
In the rematch Crocker and Nelson produced a much better performance surprising many.
‘The Croc’ dropped Donovan in the third and fifth round and proved too sharp every time Donovan tried to close the distance.

Since then there has been a lot of talk of when or who he will defend his IBF welterweight world title against.

One named mentioned has been Conah Walker, a man Crocker has already beaten in June, 2024.
He won on points with two judges scoring it 96-93 and the third 95-94.
Since his loss Walker has been on a tremendous run now coached by Jamie Moore and Nigel Travis in Manchester.
Walker is on a run of four big wins in a row with victories over Lewis Ritson and two stoppages over Harry Scarff and Liam Taylor.

In his last fight Walker produced possibly a career-best showing.
He stopped Olympic medalist and Matchroom prospect Pat McCormack in Monaco last month.
A rematch in Belfast could be on the cards as Nelson claimed he wanted in his post despite the split.
The second ranked fighter with the IBF is Liam Paro who was set to fight Donovan until the Irishman was forced to pull out with illness just weeks out.
