Mario Barrios vs Ryan Garcia: Teddy Atlas weighs in

Barrios (29-2-2, 18 KOs) has drawn his last two fights, including a brutal contest with Abel Ramos, and another against Manny Pacquiao last time out.

Speaking on his The Fight With Teddy Atlas podcast, Atlas broke down the Mario Barrios vs Ryan Garcia showdown:

“I think that you favour Garcia, the way the bookmakers are. Barrios is getting older. His last fight, talk about people getting older—the legend, the iconic legend, Manny Pacquiao, he didn’t look great in that fight. Some people thought he lost the fight.

“I’m not saying I thought that, but it was a close fight. People didn’t expect it to be that close. It was. And they’re going to take that, and maybe rightfully so, as Barrios starting to get a little long in the tooth, as they say.”

Many will be wondering what Ryan Garcia will show up on February 21.
