Professional Fighters League (PFL) returns to Belfast on April 16 as No. 4-ranked lightweight contender Paul “Big News” Hughes headlines the SSE Arena against No. 6-ranked Jay Jay “The Māori Kid” Wilson. PFL Belfast will stream live in the United States on ESPN2, ESPN App and ESPN Deportes.
Pre-sale tickets drop Feb. 24 at 12 p.m. GMT followed by public sale on Feb. 25, also at 12 p.m. GMT.
Hughes (14-3) is looking to rebound from his unanimous decision loss to Usman Nurmagomedov at PFL Dubai last fall. As for Wilson (11-2), he also competed in the PFL Dubai lineup, coughing up a unanimous decision to undefeated lightweight sensation “King” Archie Colgan.
Hughes successfully headlined PFL’s first event in Belfast back in May 2025.
The PFL Belfast preliminary card is set to be streamed in the U.S. on the ESPN App for fans with access to the ESPN Unlimited plan at 2:30 p.m. ET with the PFL Belfast Main Card airing on ESPN2 and ESPN Deportes at 7 p.m. ET.
