After over 12 months out of the ring it looks like we may finally see the return of Tyson Fury.
Fury took to social media to confirm his 2026 return with a video titled ‘Return of the Mac.’

The last opponent Fury faced was two-time undisputed heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk.
The pair fought twice with Usyk winning both contests.
In the first fight ‘The Gypsy King’ was in real danger of being stopped in the ninth round despite winning most of the early rounds.
Fury missed out on decision losses in both fights marking the first time he had lost a professional boxing contest.
After his rematch loss, the 37-year-old announced his retirement from the sport and insisted he would not return.
The first time Fury teased at a possible return was when he appeared the International Boxing Association’s event in Istanbul.
He spoke in an interview with Pro Boxing Fans.
“If I was going to come back I’d come back for Usyk, but I want a fair result in England.
“That would be the one I’d want immediately.
“That would be the fight I’d want next.”
One thing that does seem certain is ‘The Gypsy King’ will have a comeback fight before facing either one of Usyk or long-time rival, Anthony Joshua.
The Ring Magazine first reported an agreement had been reached for Joshua and Fury to fight in 2026 but both would have ‘separate’ fights prior.

Joshua’s future remains unclear after he was involved in a car crash last month, which injured him and killed two of his friends in Nigeria.
One name that has been paired with Fury’s return is Russian heavyweight Arslanbek Makhmudov.
Makhmudov was last in action in October where he beat Dave Allen over 10 rounds.
‘The Lion’ was stopped by both Agit Kabayel and Guido Vianello in fights before.
