Conor McGregor hopes to cash in on his rematch promise from Floyd Mayweather.
At the height of his game in the octagon, Conor McGregor was a two-weight world champion, with his fame ascending beyond the cage. The Irishman attracted attention from the boxing world, talking and fighting his way into one of the biggest fights in the history of combat sports when he collided with Floyd Mayweather in 2017.
After giving a good account of himself in the ring, McGregor believes the two have unfinished business. With the UFC White House card on the horizon, ‘The Notorious’ considers now the perfect time to reignite his rivalry with Mayweather.
“Fun times,” McGregor said while reminiscing on his almost decade-old bout against Mayweather. “Dana White, UFC!”
“Floyd Mayweather, when you are ready for that promised MMA bout, I am here. The White House is nice in the summer I heard.”
Conor McGregor has been heavily linked with a fight at the UFC White House, with all signs pointing toward Michael Chandler as his opponent.
While he’s willing to stray from Chandler to earn another astronomical payday against Mayweather, McGregor believes he can fight both on the same night.
“Just kidding Mike!” McGregor continued. “Although… I could fight both the same night.”
“Floyd MMA? EASY. 10 seconds.”

After looking promising in the earlier rounds, Conor McGregor’s cardio began to fade, and Floyd Mayweather took control when the pair first met.
This time around, McGregor is confident he can make easy work of Mayweather should the two agree on a rematch under the MMA ruleset.
