Former WWE chairman Vince McMahon wrecked his 2024 Bentley Continental GT on Merritt Parkway last summer in Westport, Connecticut. Police finally released dash cam video of the incident, which includes the aftermath of McMahon’s crash.
“I got my granddaughter’s birthday,” McMahon offered as an excuse for driving in excess of 100 mph.
Two other cars were damaged in the crash, including a BMW rear-ended by McMahon, as well as another vehicle in the opposing lane that was struck by flying debris.
As a result, the judge ordered McMahon to pay a $1,000 charitable contribution and complete a probation program in exchange for having the charges — which included reckless driving — wiped from his record.
Remember folks, laws don’t apply to rich or prominent figures like McMahon.
McMahon resigned as executive chairman of TKO and from the board of directors in January 2024 following sexual assault allegations from a former employee. As of this writing, that investigation remains active.
