Regis Prograis ‘not worried’ about Conor Benn ahead of April 11 showdown

Ahead of Benn-Prograis, the American spoke to Fight Hub TV, revealing his confidence ahead of his fight against the “Destroyer.”

Conor Benn vs Regis Prograis confirmed

In a press release confirming his appearance on the April 11 undercard promoted by The Ring, Benn could barely contain his excitement about returning to the scene of his two wars with Chris Eubank Jr:

“April 11 can’t come soon enough, returning to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium again, where I made history against Eubank Jr, means everything to me. My last fight there showed the world exactly who I am and what I’m about.

“Fighting on the biggest stages, in the biggest shows, I fear no one. I’m fully locked in and ready to deliver another statement performance.”

When looking at Benn-Prograis, it’s difficult to see anything other than a dominant win for the Brit. Regis Prograis has looked past his best in his last few fights since a turgid split-decision win against Danielito Zorrilla.

Prograis confident ahead of Benn clash

Despite his recent form, Prograis (30-3, 24 KOs) appears confident ahead of facing Benn (24-1, 14 KOs):

“I know I can beat Conor Benn, bro. I just know. That’s why when they told me about the weight, I don’t care. We won’t need a weight stipulation. I don’t care. You can weigh in what you want. We can do it and 150, and then after that, you can blow up to whatever you want, bro. You could be 200 pounds, I’m not worried about it.

“And don’t be surprised if I’m stronger. They’re gonna be like, ‘Damn, how you get so strong?’ They’re gonna be checking me like ‘How the f**k you get so strong?’ You gonna see, because I’m at my natural weight, and I spar all these big guys and stuff, and they don’t do nothing. The punches don’t even hurt me. He can have the pressure. I’m cool. I’m all good with it. I signed to fight ‘cause I know I can win the fight. It’s a very winnable fight for me,” said Prograis.
