Jiri Prochazka will be fighting for another UFC light heavyweight title at UFC 327 this coming April when he squares off with streaking contender Carlos Ulberg for the vacant 205-pound strap.

UFC CEO Dana White revealed the news Friday night, which confirms current UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira has vacated his title after winning it back last October at UFC 320.

Prochazka, who won the UFC light heavyweight title back in 2022, has only lost to Pereira since joining the UFC roster nearly six years ago. “BJP” would have liked the chance to face Pereira in a trilogy fight, but at least he’ll get another opportunity to hoist UFC gold. After all, Prochazka does deserve another title shot after coming off back-to-back knockout wins over Jamahal Hill and Khalil Rountree Jr.

On Saturday, Prochazka took to Instagram to send a message to fight fans after UFC 327’s main event title fight was made official. As always, Prochazka looks completely dialed in and ready to go to war against Ulberg in less than two months.

Check it out below:

“Here we are. The moment I’ve been praying for, fighting for,” said Prochazka. “More than ever. Let’s go for it. For the whole Czech Republic, let’s go for it. Thank you for your support.

“Let’s go for the title. Let’s go for the hunt. Let’s go hunt Ulberg.”
