Jarrell Miller delivers blunt verdict on Derek Chisora vs Deontay Wilder

Derek Chisora vs Deontay Wilder headlines a Misfits Pro card in association with Queensberry Promotions at the O2 Arena in London on April 4. The entire card will stream live on DAZN.

Ahead of this intriguing heavyweight clash, American heavyweight Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller spoke to NewBettingOffers about Derek Chisora vs Deontay Wilder, revealing his prediction.

Derek Chisora vs Deontay Wilder set for April 4 in London

Chisora-Wilder is the fiftieth fight for both, with Wilder aiming for bigger opportunities, while “Del Boy” is adamant it’s fifty and out for him.

Wilder (44-4-1, 43 KOs) was once arguably the most feared heavyweight on the planet before his legendary trilogy with Tyson Fury. “The Bronze Bomber” has been largely inactive in recent years, suffering back-to-back defeats against Joseph Parker and Zhilei Zhang. Wilder returned to the ring this past June, stopping Tyrrell Herndon in the seventh round.

Chisora (36-13, 23 KOs) is widely regarded as a fan favourite among the British public. Throughout his career, he has shown a willingness to face the best, including Oleksandr Usyk and Vitali Klitschko.

Jarrell ‘Big Baby’ Miller Has His Say on Derek Chisora vs Deontay Wilder

Looking ahead to Derek Chisora vs Deontay Wilder, Miller said:

“Chisora is one of those guys that is so durable. He’s so mentally strong. He has a physically fit stamina engine. He might look tired, but he can still fight. Deontay can’t fight tired, not the way Chisora does. So, I’m thinking it’s Chisora in this one. Best man wins, but I think Chisora’s gonna get him. Deontay’s skills deteriorated when he changed trainers.

“I feel like if Wilder would have stuck to his name, being a wild man, fight wild and do wild shit, he would still be a guy threatening. But when you’re trying to tame down the beast and become a boxer, he’s not a boxer, he never made it through boxing. Now you’re trying to change up his style, it’s not working for him. Styles make fights, and Chisora has a style that definitely hurts him.”
