The wrestling rematch between UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan and former college wrestler Georgio Poullas has been booked for RAF 7 on March 28 LIVE on Fox Nation from Tampa, Fla., according to a Friday social media post by the promotion.
See below:
In case you missed it, Tsarukyan and Poullas locked horns at RAF 6 last weekend in Tempe, Arizona. The two shared some brief trash talk before their match, but all hell broke loose after the final second of action. Tsarukyan, who felt that Poullas was slapping and pushing during the match, decided to charge. The UFC fighter took Poullas down and landed a clean punch to the chin before both teams rushed the mat and chaos ensued.
After the fight, Poullas spoke from the back of an ambulance and claimed that he was “jumped.”
The match pulled some considerable traffic so a rematch was quickly booked for March 11 in Brazil under the Hype Brazil banner. However, Poullas pulled out of that event earlier this week because he wants the rematch to take place with Real American Freestyle (RAF). That will happen on March 28 and could be one of the biggest grappling matchups of the year given the bad blood boiling between Tsarukyan and Poullas.
What do you think, Maniacs? Who wins the rematch?
