Not subscribed to Paramount+ yet, the new home of UFC for the next seven years? You might want to consider signing on to the annual package now before the prices get hiked up on January 15th.
But that $59.99 price is disappearing fast. In just four days, the annual subscription price is going up to $89.99 per year. That’s thirty frickin’ dollars more! Monthly tiers will also be going up in price, with Essential subscribers being bumped from $7.99 to $8.99 per month and Premium going from $12.99 to $13.99.
Paramount+ Premium’s annual cost is also rising from $119.99 to $139.99.
So what’s the difference between Essential and Premium? It all comes down to ads. Essential is ‘ad supported’ which means you’re gonna get ads during all the on-demand content you watch. That won’t be the case with Premium … except when it comes to live sports like UFC. There are still ads being run during live sports, no matter which package you’re on.
We’ll see you on January 24th when the UFC returns with UFC 324 featuring Justin Gaethje vs. Paddy Pimblett for the interim lightweight title.
