Chris Eubank Jr has been given a stern warning ahead of a potential return to the ring.
Eubank Jr was last in action in November, down twice in a comprehensive defeat on points to Conor Benn in their rematch.
The Brighton man posted an alarming video last month of him receiving medical treatment in a hospital.
“I’ve been dealing with a lot of health issues over the last year & yeah it all finally caught up to me last month,” the 36-year-old posted on Instagram.
“I will not box again until I’m back to 100% & I don’t know when that will be, but one things for certain.
“For the fans that have supported me through thick & thin, I will do everything in my power to make sure that one day, the old me makes a big comeback.”
Eubank Jr’s promoter, Ben Shalom told reporters this week that his charge would likely be moving up in weight to 168 pounds when he gets back in the ring, with his last nine fights taking place at middleweight.
Shalom did not put a timeframe on his comeback, nor reveal his medical condition he’s been suffering with, but confirmed that he does intend to fight again.

The super middleweight division has become wide open since Terence Crawford announced his retirement last month, following his September victory over Canelo Alvarez to become the undisputed champion.
The WBO, IBF and WBC titles he once owned are all vacant, while Jose Resendiz is the only current world champion, holding the WBA crown.
talkSPORT pundit, Simon Jordan has dismissed Eubank Jr’s chances of competing with the elite of the division.
“He’s got a particular condition that is resolvable,” Jordan said on talkSPORT.
“It will be resolved.

“It’s what’s left of him as a fighter.
“At super middleweight, you’ve got Terence Crawford [who has] now vacated.
“You’ve got Canelo as a declining force.
“But I think if he takes a meaningful fight in that division against someone like Hamzah Sheeraz, he loses all day.
“So whilst we enjoy Chris Eubank, because he is a spectacle, he’s a press conference gold, as a fighter, I think that’s all done.”
