Derek Chisora has given his thoughts on a possible matchup between Oleksandr Usyk and Moses Itauma.
Chisora was Usyk’s second fight in the heavyweight division and was brutally honest on how Itauma would do against the Ukrainian great.
‘Del Boy’ and Usyk fought in 2020 with ‘The Cat’ edging a points win.
Some feel Chisora was Usyk’s toughest test in the heavyweight ranks.
He spoke to The Ring Magazine and revealed how he believes an Usyk vs Itauma match would play out.
“Usyk will blow the smoke at him.
“Usyk will kill him.”
Itauma at just 21-years-old has been a revelation in heavyweight division and is seen as one of the sport’s brightest talents.
He has an impressive 13 wins and 11 stoppages along the way.
Despite having only boxed 26 professional rounds he has taken on some tough opposition including Mariusz Wach who he stopped in the second round of their fight.
Wach, a former world title challenger has faced some of the division’s toughest from Dillian Whyte to Martin Bakole.

He fought Australian Dempsey McKean on the undercard of Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury 2.
On the world stage Itauma stopped McKean just two minutes into their clash.
In his last outing Itauma took on what should’ve been a real step-up in Dillian Whyte.
This didn’t materialise however with Itauma once again scoring a first round stoppage.
Following his last win Saudi Arabian boxing chief, Turki Alalshikh took to social media revealing he wants to see Itauma and Usyk fight.
I want to see Usyk against Itauma. This is the fight.

Itauma was set to return to the ring in a couple of weeks against Jermaine Franklin at the Co-op Live in Manchester on January 24.
Just weeks out Itauma picked up an injury and the fight has been postponed.
Franklin has taken Whyte and two-time heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua the distance and will look to cause an upset to the so far punch perfect Itauma on their rescheduled date.
Itauma and Franklin are now pencilled in to fight on March 28th.
