Dana White privilege? Sean O’Malley’s protege books UFC debut date inside Meta’s Apex

Published:

Featherweights will collide in April.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Bantamweight and Sean O’Malley’s protege, Tommy McMillen, will be making his UFC debut against Manolo Zecchini at UFC Vegas 115 on April 4, 2025 inside the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Zecchini’s management announced the fight booking today.

Prior to his Contender Series appearance, the 28-year-old carried a perfect finish rate, stopping all eight of his previous opponents — all in the first round. He’s spent several years training alongside former UFC Bantamweight champion O’Malley, developing under one of the division’s most dynamic strikers.

Known as “Angelo Veneziano,” Zecchini brings serious finishing ability of his own, boasting a 91 percent finish rate, including nine knockouts, eight of which came in the opening round.

On paper, this matchup screams violence — and it’s hard to imagine the judges getting involved.

Here is what UFC Vegas 115 currently looks like:

  • Virna Jandiroba vs. Tabatha Ricci
  • Hailey Cowan vs. Alice Pereira
  • Alessandro Costa vs. Stewart Nicoll
  • Azamat Bekoev vs. Tresean Gore
  • Melissa Gatto vs. Dione Barbosa
  • Manolo Zecchini vs. Tommy McMillen
