Dana White contradicts Justin Gaethje pay plaint, claims UFC 324 headliner was offered ‘more money’ but ‘never responded’

Published:

UFC CEO, Dana White, wants us to believe he offered Justin Gaethje “more money” for his headlining fight at UFC 324 this weekend in Las Vegas, but Gaethje “never responded.” Yes, the same Gaethje who’s repped by the money-grubbing Ali Abdelaziz, could not be reached for a salary increase.

So was that before or after the contract was signed for a specific dollar amount?

“Gaethje, without getting into all that stuff, Gaethje was offered more money, and Gaethje never responded,” White told Pat McAfee. “[But] we’re good [with Gaethje].”

The worst part of that clip is hearing the McAfee goon squad howl in laughter.

“We completely have it dialed in,” White said about the new salary structure. “We’ve got really smart kids, and they can get down within single digits on how close it would be to pay them like it was a pay-per-view.”

I guess it all depends on which PPV.
