On Friday, some UFC gamblers noticed some odd line shifts for Saturday’s lightweight tilt between veterans Michael Johnson and Alexander Hernandez. Despite coming off three-straight wins inside of the Octagon, Johnson was a heavy betting underdog when odds first popped in late December. That has since changed as Johnson (-110) vs. Hernandez (-110) is currently an even odds affair.
This means that big money has come in on Johnson. The concerning part about that is the fact that much of that action on “Menace” came in the past 24 hours. Johnson was coming in at +135 yesterday to Hernandez’s -165, but the odds have completely changed since then heading into Saturday’s UFC 324 matchup.

As you may remember, UFC had an issue with this type of stuff late last year with Isaac Dulgarian’s fight-fixing allegations. The odds for that fight also flipped at the last second, leaving fight fans with a sour taste in their mouths. Maybe that’s why the betting community is on high alert coming into 2026.
