The ADCC European, Middle-Eastern, and African Trials 2026 took place across February 14th and 15th, 2026 and 8 elite competitors delivered the results they needed to book their places at ADCC 2026. This was also the first time in the current cycle that women have been able to win invites, so the competition in the female divisions was particularly fierce. All three of the female champions are pretty early on in their respective careers, demonstrating just how strong the future of women’s Jiu-Jitsu is looking right now. The youngest of them all was 20 year-old Anabel Lopez, who won 4 matches in total at over 65kg and beat the last woman to win invite in this continent in the final.
At under 99kg it was a previous winner who came out on top, registering what was undoubtedly the most impressive run of the entire tournament. Eoghan O’Flanagan had moved up in weight to enter that division but he proved to be just as effective, as he did a clean-sweep of the bracket by submitting all 5 of his opponents. The final champion was Haisam Rida at over 99kg, who had a surprisingly long run to the top of the heaviest division. Rida outscored 3 of his opponents to win on points and submitted the other 3, including one of the other big contenders in the division in the semi-finals.
