Alex Volkanovski’s next fight? New betting lines have Movsar Evloev leading the pack after UFC 325

Reigning UFC featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski defended his 145-pound title with a commanding performance against Diego Lopes, again, in the UFC 325 main event last weekend on Paramount+, a vintage five-round beatdown that could put “The Great” in line for a return at UFC White House in June.

Who will Volkanovski fight next?

BetOnline.ag has undefeated featherweight contender Movsar Evloev as the current frontrunner at 1/1 (+100), followed by “butt hurt” Brazilian fan favorite Jean Silva at 7/4 (+175) and British bruiser Lerone Murphy at 3/1 (+300). Top lightweight contender Amran Tsarukyan is far behind at 10/1 (+1000).

Probably because of this.

“If it’s the featherweight division, it’s got to be the top guys,” Volkanovski said on UFC 325’s Paramount+ post-fight show. “You know what I’m like. I want to fight the top guys who deserve it. You’ve got Movsar and Lerone Murphy. I’ve been told they’re going to face each other. I don’t know if that’s just rumors. That’ll be great. I’ll be watching that. If the next one is definitely featherweight, it’s got to be one of those two.”
