Chase DeMoor played spoiler as heavy favorite Andrew Tate was brushed aside during their six-round affair for the Misfits heavyweight title. Also competing on the card was former interim UFC lightweight champion Tony Ferguson, who tasted victory again in his second outing in the ring.
Still dividing opinion among combat sports fans, Misfits Boxing invites fighters, influencers, and celebrities from across the globe to compete on their platform. The promotion has showcased fights you would otherwise only dream of, and that trend continued with ‘Cobra’s return to combat sports.
Despite having a seasoned past in kickboxing, Andrew Tate hadn’t competed in any form of combat for half a decade. Approaching his 40th birthday, Tate put his ‘Top G’ status on the line and tested himself against a man 10 years his junior, though it didn’t go as planned.
Tate started brightly, executing body shots and using his speed and fighting background to control the distance. However, a shift in game plan allowed Chase DeMoor to force Tate to carry his weight in the clinch.
The tactic proved successful as Tate began fading in the latter rounds, allowing DeMoor to take over and land heavy shots. The heavyweight clash didn’t live up to prior expectations, and DeMoor walked away with the majority decision victory.

After a promising start to his career with Misfits, cutting an eight-fight losing streak with a knockout win, Tony Ferguson was back in action on Saturday.
A lack of success in recent years hasn’t altered the love that ‘El Cucuy’ receives from fans. Those who stuck by him rejoice after he capped a feel-good 2025 off with a second victory in the boxing ring.
Tony Ferguson managed to land damaging shots that dropped Warren Spencer and showed dominant striking on his way to retaining/unifying the Misfits middleweight title.
