Andrew Tate’s Misfits Boxing debut ended in defeat, as Chase DeMoor secured a deserved majority decision victory in Dubai on Saturday.
DeMoor defended his Misfits heavyweight title, rocking Tate on several occasions before running out a points winner at the Dubai Free Tennis Stadium.
Tate, the controversial media personality, started well on the front foot backing up the American and replied to a right hand with a flurry of his own to end the round.
Tate though didn’t seem to recover after being rocked in the third round by an uppercut, which put him on shaky legs.
The former kickboxer was bloodied in the fifth round and had to eat another uppercut.
The 39-year-old was out on his feet and was seemingly looking to survive as DeMoor piled on the pressure in the fifth.
Tate showed tremendous bravery and fought until the final bell where the result seemed inevitable.
A contentious 57-57 scorecard was overruled by two scores of 58-56 in favour of DeMoor, who called for a clash with Tommy Fury afterwards.
