Another scandal? Undercard bout scrapped last minute amidst concerns over irregular betting | UFC 324

Published:

A lightweight fight between Michael Johnson and Alexander Hernandez has been removed from tonight’s (Sat., Jan. 24, 2026) UFC 324 card LIVE on Paramount+ from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The promotion announced the news Saturday afternoon, but did not name a specific reason as to why the 155-pound matchup was canceled, leaving fight fans to draw their own conclusions.

Even some operators knew something was up. Check it out below:

While UFC didn’t mention anything about unusual betting activity being the reason why Johnson vs. Hernandez was removed from Saturday’s UFC 324 card it still raises some red flags. Don’t forget, UFC went through something like this late last year when Isaac Dulgarian was alleged of fixing a fight. The FBI got involved, Dulgarian was released and eventually suspended, and fight fans have been cautious ever since.

What do you think, Maniacs? Did UFC remove Johnson vs. Hernandez to avoid another Dulgarian situation or was there another reason why the fight was canceled?

Sound off!
