Josh Kelly is the betting underdog heading into Saturday’s eagerly-anticipated world title clash against Bakhram Murtazaliev.
Kelly challenges Murtazaliev for the IBF super welterweight world title at the Utilita Arena in Newcastle, live on DAZN.
Kelly will become Britain’s sixth active world champion if he beats the feared Russian, but is seen as a 5/2 outsider to pull of the victory with Bet365.
Murtazaliev, who makes a second defence of his crown against the Sunderland man, is an overwhelming favourite to retain his title at 3/10 by Bet365.
The undefeated 33-year-old has won his last two bouts inside the distance and is expected to record a third straight victory by stoppage at 8/11.
At the time of writing, Bet365 are offering a bet boost on a Murtazaliev points win at 4/1 from 7/2.
Kelly is unbeaten in seven since a sole defeat to David Avanesyan in a bid for the European welterweight title in 2021 and the masterful boxer is backed to win on points at 15/4.
The 31-year-old knocked out Flavius Biea in the first round in June, but is a lofty 12/1 to do the same to his rival on Saturday.
