Brad Tavares vs. Eryk Anders added to UFC Vegas 114 with all-time Middleweight wins record at stake

Published:

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) history could be made this March … at the Apex.

27-fight UFC veteran Brad Tavares is set to return to action against fellow longtime veteran Eryk Anders at UFC Vegas 114 on Saturday, March 14, 2026, inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. MMAJunkie was first to report the news.

Tavares (16-11) is one victory shy of surpassing Michael Bisping for the most UFC wins in the 185-pound weight class, as both fighters are currently tied at 16. He’ll get another chance to break the record after coming up short in his last outing, a knockout loss to Robert Bryczek at UFC Paris. Prior to that, Tavares put on a dominant performance over Gerald Meerschaert, but he has alternated wins and losses in recent fights.

Notably, Tavares has never earned a “Performance of the Night” bonus during his 26-fight UFC tenure and shares the record for most decision wins (14) with Neil Magny.

Anders (17-9) will be retiring when he steps into the Octagon, as his contract expires. “Ya Boi” is coming off a knockout loss to Christian Leroy Duncan at UFC Vegas 109 (watch highlights), though he previously retired Chris Weidman at UFC 310 (watch highlights). Anders will be looking to leave the UFC with a winning record, currently sitting at 9-9-1 in the promotion.

Here is what UFC Vegas 114 looks like so far:

  • Gillian Robertson vs. Amanda Lemos
  • Eryk Anders vs. Brad Tavares
  • Lone’er Kavanagh vs. Bruno Silva
  • Bia Mesquita vs. Montserrat Rendon
