Claressa Shields vs Franchon Crews-Dezurn 2 – How To Watch It

Published:

Claressa Shields returns to action on February 22nd against Franchon Crews-Dezurn.

Crews-Dezurn challenges Shields for the undisputed heavyweight crown live from Detroit.

‘T-Rex’ currently holds every major belt in the heavyweight division — WBC, IBF, WBO and WBA — and is also recognised as The Ring Magazine world champion.

Shields became undisputed champion in dominant fashion last year with her win over Danielle Perkins to clinch the final belt that had eluded her at the time, the IBF heavyweight title.

She has previously been undisputed at middleweight before moving up to the blue-collar division.

Claressa Shields unloads a right hand on Lani Daniels during their undisputed heavyweight title clash at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit. Shields dominated en route to a unanimous decision victory.

She enters the contest unbeaten with 17 wins, three coming by way of knockout.

The challenger boxes out of Maryland, USA and comes into the fight a heavy underdog.

Crews-Dezurn comes off a majority decision victory over Citlalli Ortiz in June last year.

She also holds an impressive unanimous decision win over Most Valuable Promotions’ Shadasia Green on the Jake Paul vs Andre August undercard.

‘The Heavy Hitting Diva’ has suffered two losses in her 12-fight professional career.

Her first came on points to Shields in both fighters’ professional debuts back in 2016.

Her second defeat came via unanimous decision to Savannah Marshall over 10 rounds.
