Former world level challenger, Dillian Whyte has discussed his future, naming Deontay Wilder as a dream opponent.
Alongside Wilder, Whyte mentioned a former heavyweight world champion he’d love to share the ring with.
‘The Body Snatcher’ was last in action in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where he faced rising heavyweight prospect Moses Itauma.
Itauma stopped Whyte in the first round after a barrage of shots caught the 37-year-old.
He revealed his overriding goal when speaking to IFL TV.
“I’d love to get a shot at the world title again, but obviously, it’s about earning money.”
Whyte has shared the ring with some of the best of the last decade including Tyson Fury, Derek Chisora and former world champion Joseph Parker.
He did however name a couple of fighters over the years he hasn’t had the opportunity to fight yet.
“There’s a couple of guys left from my generation I haven’t fought, Wilder is one of them. Wilder and Andy Ruiz, I would love to fight those guys.”
‘The Bronze Bomber’ has been in many headlines over the last few weeks with a rumoured match-up with two-time undisputed heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk on the cards.

Usyk called out Wilder in an interview with Boxing King Media while at the WBC annual convention in Thailand.
Wilder talked about the prospect of fighting Usyk while talking to IBA Boxing.
“It was sweet music to my ears.
“It’s a blessing for me to be honest, because I never get opportunities.
“But when I look at this opportunity I’m like ‘wow’.”
The other name Whyte mentioned was Ruiz who has also shared the ring with Anthony Joshua and many more of the division’s best.

“I’ve fought everybody from my generation, guys from before me and guys from after me, so yeah.”
Wilder has also entertained a fight with a long-term rival of Whyte’s, Derek Chisora after they had a viral face off in Dubai last month.

‘The Bronze Bomber’ spoke to the The Cigar Talk Podcast and revealed a plan to fight Chisora then Usyk in the new year.

“That’s real. That could be a real fight.
“I love that because Derek, if you know Derek and you’re a fan of Derek, you know he’s not a pushover.
“You’re not gonna bully him, you feel me? The mentality that he has, he has an alpha male mentality, and when you go up against another alpha male, it’s a problem.”
Whyte will hope to change these plans if he is to land a fight with Wilder.
‘The Body Snatcher’ was set to have his trilogy fight against Chisora himself with the pair sharing a face off on the live broadcast of Joseph Parker vs Fabio Wardley back in October.

The fight seemed close but the pair were unable to reach a deal for a December clash.
