The official time of stoppage for this six-round lightweight clash was 1:32. Lagunas was first knocked down in the third from a left hook to the head and body. He was dropped once more in round four from a barrage of punches. Referee Mark Nelson put an end to proceedings shortly after another barrage from Kuchmenov.
