Full Teams Announced For Enyo Grappling 8: North vs South

Published:

Both have strong lineups, but the first to be announced was team South and they have several Enyo veterans representing them. Zoe Lundy will be returning after representing the UK last time around, and she’s the only one to do so. She will be joined by Hayley Carter, who won one of the two main event superfights at Enyo Grappling 7, and Madison Murphy, who got a highlight-reel finish at Enyo Grappling 3. Rounding out the Southern team is top masters purple belt competitor Meg Cook and Gabriela Kuliga, who is coming into this event off a great performance at Kairos Pro Jiu-Jitsu 3.

The Northern team also has one of the Enyo Grappling 7 main event superfight winners; Ellie Vipond. She actually made her major event debut at Polaris 31 last year against Amy Derwanz, but now the two women are competing together for team North. Lana Campbell will be joining them after also making an impact last year, when she won with a slick kneebar back at Grapplefest 19. The final two members of team North are undefeated professional MMA fighter Summer Onley and top Hungarian brown belt Sonya Retezan, both of whom will be tough opponents for whoever they end up facing. The team battle at Enyo 8 is set to be an exciting one and as always, the promotion is putting together a packed preliminary card to support it too.

Enyo announced full teams for their North vs South battle at Enyo 8 in a recent post to their official Instagram account:
