King Green turned back the clock yet again earlier tonight (Sat., Feb. 28, 2026) at UFC Mexico City LIVE on Paramount+ from inside Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico, as the veteran lightweight put a nasty stop to Mexico City’s own Daniel Zellhuber with a second-round TKO (punches).

Despite being a sizeable betting underdog, Green got off to a great start. He was confident with his normal striking attacks and proved that he still has the speed to contend with fighters outside of the top 15. Zellhuber is long and clean with his shots, but Green was able to avoid almost all his advancements. In fact, it took Zellhuber late into the second round to surpass 20 total strikes.

Unfortunately for Zellhuber, he wasn’t able to make it to the third round to add to his total. That’s because Green clipped Zellhuber with a counter right during an exchange with little left on the clock. Green uncorked another straight right followed by a left hook that left Zellhuber’s face looking disoriented as he stumbled backwards into the cage. Green rushed in for heavy punches and eventual ground-and-pound to force referee Herb Dean to step in for the stoppage.
