Highlights! OKTAGON double champion demolishes ex-UFC Heavyweight in under two minutes

Published:

Two-division champion Will Fleury proved he’s on a different level.

Fleury made shockingly quick work of former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight and ex-OKTAGON champion Martin Buday, stopping him in under two minutes in the main event of OKTAGON 81 today (Sun., Dec. 28, 2026) inside the O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic.

Buday entered the bout with plenty of momentum and credibility. The Slovakian standout was making his highly anticipated return to OKTAGON after being surprisingly released from the UFC earlier this year, despite coming off a win over Marcus Buchecha at UFC Abu Dhabi. Prior to Sunday, Buday was undefeated in the OKTAGON cage (5-0), riding a three-fight win streak, and had gone 7-1 during his UFC run — earning a No. 12 ranking in the Heavyweight division along the way.

None of that mattered once the cage door closed, as Fluery had a perfect performance with terrific footwork and boxing.

Watch the finish below:

Fleury (16-3) has been on a tear since signing with OKTAGON in 2024, rattling off five straight wins with the promotion and finishing three of those opponents. He first captured the Light Heavyweight title by defeating longtime OKTAGON fixture Karlos Vemola, then kicked off 2025 by claiming the vacant Heavyweight belt with a win over Lazar Todev.

Now riding a nine-fight win streak — notwithstanding a PFL bout later overturned to a no-contest due to a failed drug test— the 36-year-old Irish bruiser looks nearly unstoppable.

As for what’s next, all signs point toward a rematch with Daniel Skvor, who has reeled off four straight finishes since their first meeting in Fleury’s OKTAGON debut.
