‘I blacked out! — Former heavyweight boxing champion knocks out 120-lb streamer in silly sparring match | Video

Published:

One of these days these pesky social media influencers trying to be professional fighters will really get hurt. It nearly happened this past week, but luckily for well-known streamer, Oblivion, the damage was minimal.

The same IShowSpeed also tasted defeat at the hands of legendary boxer Manny Pacquiao and UFC’s Dan Hooker.

Earlier this week, another influencer took a shot at sparring a real fighter and it didn’t go as planned. Christian Beatriz, better known as Oblivion, decided to test his striking skills against former heavyweight boxing world champion, Andy Ruiz (the same Andy Ruiz who knocked out Anthony Joshua). Oblivion has made a name for himself competing on Adin Ross’ Brand Risk boxing events, but nothing could prepare him for the power of Ruiz.

While Ruiz seemed to take things easy to begin the sparring session he eventually landed a huge punch in the corner that sent Oblivion crashing to the canvas. The influencer then started to reel in pain over his jaw and ear, admitting afterwards that he “blacked out” and couldn’t remember what Ruiz hit him with.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Check out the lopsided sparring match below!
