It’s back! Dan Hooker’s ‘King of the Streets’ backyard fight league returns with $100,000 payout

Published:

Dan Hooker’s “King of the Streets” fight league is returning early next year and it’s bigger and better than ever.

All in all, it was a smashing success for “Hangman” as he took a hiatus from his own UFC career to heal some injuries.

Check out Hooker’s post below:

“$100,000 on the line,” he wrote. “’King of the Streets’ is back. Feb. 7th. 100kg+ anyone can get it.”

Hooker, 35, is one of the most liked fighters on the UFC roster today. The lightweight contender is coming off a disappointing submission loss to No. 1-ranked Arman Tsarukyan last November, but “Hangman” remains 3-2 in his last five trips to the Octagon. He’s currently scheduled to return at UFC 325 on Jan. 31 in Sydney, Australia, in a co-main event scrap with streaking finisher Benoit Saint Denis.
