Jake Paul has opened up on his boxing future after his fight with Joshua on Friday.
Paul was brutally stopped and had his jaw broken in two places by Joshua.
The bout took place in Miami, America on Friday 19th December.
After sustaining such a severe injury many have questioned if ‘The Problem Child’ will return to the ring.
He spoke on his brother Logan Paul’s podcast and answered if he will return to the ring.
“Yeah [he will box again] I’m going to take some time off and go support Jutta [his partner] at the Olympics, I’m gonna move her here [Peurto Rico.]
“Then I might go snowboarding or something.”
He also touched on a potential opponent he may face in the future.
Joshua’s promotor, Eddie Hearn gave his thought on Paul’s injuries and if he thinks the ‘Problem Child’ will return.
“He may never be able to fight again. There have been many fighters who have had their jaws broken that never boxed again.” Hearn told Ariel Helwani.
Paul compared his performance to former UFC champion Francis Ngannou’s claiming he may now take a fight with him after going six rounds against ‘AJ’
Ngannou fought Joshua in March 2024 and was brutally stopped in the second round.
“I told everyone that I would do better than Francis [Ngannou] and that he has got no chin.
“Francis is low key soft.
“That’s a good idea actually [fighting Francis Ngannou]
“I think he might take it now and be like ‘oh s***’.”
After Paul’s fight with Gervonta Davis fell through Ngannou was contacted for a potential fight which he did not entertain.
“No, no, no, no, c’mon, don’t be silly,” Ngannou told TMZ.
“Maybe if we put [Jake and Logan Paul] in the cage, maybe there’s something to do there. C’mon, like respect me a little bit.”
He also took to social media to share his disliking for Paul.

Next time I see this @jakepaul guy I’m gonna give him 2 or 3 slaps

Paul also took a shot at people who have been criticising him following the fight.
He once again confirmed his intent to return to the squared circle.
“To all the hating ass, lying ass, trying to stay relevant ass, begging for a click ass mofos…I will be back.”

Went from gotcha hat to the biggest boxing events in the world. Grateful to the process and the opportunity.

Despite intending to return, recovering from his injuries will take a while.
