Jake Paul suspended indefinitely following Anthony Joshua knockout loss in Miami

Published:

That’s according to MMA Fighting.

In addition, former UFC welterweight champion Tyron “The Frozen One” Woodley was benched for 30 days in the wake of his second-round knockout loss to ex-UFC middleweight titleholder Anderson “The Spider” Silva as part of the “Judgment Day” main card lineup on Netflix.

The full list of “Judgment Day” medical suspensions below:

Jake Paul: Indefinite suspension
Tyron Woodley: 30-day suspension
Camilla Panatta: 30-day suspension
Yokasta Valle: 30-day suspension
Justin Cardona: 60-day suspension
Diarra Davis Jr.: Indefinite suspension

Paul and Davis Jr. will need to be cleared by doctors before the commission allows them to return.

“I got four plates in my jaw but that’s part of the sport,” Paul said on the Impaulsive podcast. “The healing process has been a little bit tough. I’m a little bit tired, it’s hard to sleep. I go onto the pillow and then my jaw twerks up to the left and I wake up. It’s all part of the sport and it was an amazing night and I learned a lot, gained a lot of experience and we’re moving onto more fights this year.”
