Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul are set to fight in just four days.
With Paul vs Joshua so close we took a look at the fight on paper.
Height
Joshua comes into Friday’s mega-fight as the much bigger man then Paul, he is a massive 6’6 in comparison to Paul who stands at 6’2.
Paul has never faced someone of this stature with his tallest opponent being Anderson Silva who is 6’2.
Many have commented on Joshua supposedly struggling against fighters that are smaller than him with losses to Andy Ruiz Jr & Oleksandr Usyk often mentioned.
Despite all of Joshua’s losses coming to shorter men it is unlikely Paul can emulate the constant movement and slick skills of an Usyk or Ruiz.
He may look at Joshua’s last fight against Daniel Dubois as a model he wants to replicate.
Dubois caught Joshua early in the first round and after a barrage of pressure stopped ‘AJ’ who never recovered properly from the first knockdown.

Reach
Another feat Joshua naturally betters Paul in is the reach.
‘AJ’ has a reach of 82-inches in comparison to Paul’s 76-inch reach.
This will make emulating Dubois’ win against Joshua even more difficult; making closing the distance to ‘AJ’ an even tougher test where he will likely have to take a shot to land one often.
Usyk had a similar reach to Paul (78-inches) but it was his style, constantly crossing the centre line and controlling the lead hand battle that helped him get the better of Joshua.
’The Cat’s’ style is very difficult to replicate, especially for someone who has only boxed for seven years.

Weight
Joshua is not only the taller man but the much heavier man.
The highest Paul has entered a fight was 227.2 pounds when he faced a 58-year-old Mike Tyson.
Paul has only fought in the heavyweight division once and is set to make his second appearance there against one of the best the division has seen over the last 10 years.
Joshua has campaigned in the heavyweights ever since he picked up boxing 17-years-ago.

He has faced some of the best over the years including Wladimir Klitschko, Oleksandr Usyk and more.
‘AJ’ has to weigh in under 245lbs for this fight, a weight he last fought at three-years-ago in his rematch against Usyk.
He recently posted an image to social media of some scales showing he was already at fight weight weeks before the fight.
