Jarrell Miller REVEALS why his hair fell off mid-fight

Published:

Jarrell Miller staged a late fight back to overcome Kingsley Ibeh, but that wasn’t the main talking point from the heavyweight bout.

Miller was going viral during his clash with Ibeh after suffering a hair malfunction.

With Ibeh unloading in the second round, disaster struck for Miller, with his wig coming off amid the pressure.

An uppercut at the end of the round had Miller’s toupee move to the back of his head.

‘Big Baby’ made light of the situation, throwing it into the crowd before the start of the third round.

The Brooklyn heavyweight revealed after the fight what caused the viral moment.

“I get to my momma house,” the 37-year-old told DAZN post-fight.

“And she had some shampoo bottles under her table and I shampooed it.

“This s*** was like ammonium bleach.

“I was like let me slap that s*** on real quick.

“Ibeh knocked that s*** off.

“But like I said before, it’s funny man.

“I’m a comedian. You’ve got to make fun of yourself.”

Miller, who was fighting for the first time since a majority draw with Andy Ruiz Jr in August 2024, looked lethargic in the early stages, with the fresher Ibeh having the best of the action.

However, ‘Big Baby’ kept himself on course for some big fights with a late onslaught to take a split decision win.

One judged scored the contest 96-96 in favour of Ibeh, while Miller was awarded the bout with two scores of 97-93.

“We’ve got to stay active,” he added.

“The first fights are always a little rusty.

“We fight again in 30 or 40 days.

“I want to heal up. Heal my face a little bit.

“Maybe I’ve got to grow a bit of hair on the top of my head!”
