Juked! Watch arthritic Jon Jones get dusted by Dwight Howard in celebrity football

Published:

Former UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones is already talking about hip replacement surgery, so I’m not sure “Bones” was the best choice to cover Dwight Howard, the 6’10” NBA All Star nicknamed “Superman” for his athletic prowess.

Not surprisingly, Jones got tied up like a pair of Chuck Taylors and left in the dust once Howard turned on the jets.

Jones and Howard were participants in the Celebrity Flag Football Challenge on Thursday night inside California Memorial Stadium at UC Berkeley. “Bones” ultimately got the last laugh when Team Quavo prevailed, but his Howard clip will live in infamy.

Probably not the worst Super Bowl memory for UFC, all things considered.

Quavo, according to Google, is a rapper from the group Migos, which did the song “Is You Ready” for the Mile 22 soundtrack and Mile 22 starred former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey.

Six degrees of Jon Jones?

“Bones” is currently inactive but hoping to return for UFC White House in June.
