Mario Barrios will defend his WBC welterweight title against boxing bad boy Ryan Garcia on Sat. night (Feb. 21, 2026) from inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, streaming live on DAZN pay-per-view (PPV). The main event, billed as “The Ring: High Stakes,” features Barrios (29-2-2) seeking his third title defense against Garcia (24-2).
First, both fighters will take the stage for the official “Barrios vs. Garcia” ceremonial weigh ins, streaming LIVE at 6 p.m. ET in the embedded video above.
“I don’t like Ryan Garcia at all, but I will say that I think that he will become champion against Mario Barrios,” Claressa Shields told DAZN News. “That’s not a knock to Mario Barrios. It seems like when it gets time for Mario Barrios to go that extra mile, he doesn’t do it. He’s a great fighter. He has great skill, great fundamentals, but he doesn’t use them. It’s like he fights to be in a tie. It’s like his fights are almost like watching a sparring match of two guys going 70 or 80 percent.”
