Subriel Matias vs Dalton Smith – Odds and Betting Guide

Dalton Smith heads into Saturday’s clash with Subriel Matias as the betting underdog to claim a maiden world title in New York.

Smith challenges WBC super lightweight champion, Matias in the early hours of Sunday morning at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, live on PPV.com.

Matias, a two-time world champion, secured the crown in July with a majority decision win over Alberto Puello.

The 33-year-old has lost twice in his professinonal career, most recently to Liam Paro in June 2024, but the Puerto Rican is on a run of three successive wins and heads in as an 8/13 favourite with Bet365.

Smith, undefeated in 18 professional bouts, is priced at 13/10 to pull off the upset.

Matias has recorded 22 knockouts from his 23 wins and is expected to win inside the distance at 15/8.

Smith knocked out former world title challenger, Jose Zepeda in March 2023 and is backed at 4/1 to do the same to his rival.

A points victory for the 28-year-old Brit is priced at 3/1, while Matias is 12/5 to go the distance again, as he did against Puello.
