UFC 324 referee, judging assignments set for ‘Paddy vs. Gaethje’ Paramount+ card in Las Vegas

Published:

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is just a couple of days in front of its UFC 324: “Gaethje vs. Pimblett” mixed martial arts (MMA) event, marking the promotion’s premiere on the Paramount+ digital network. Headlining the card is the interim lightweight title fight pitting Justin Gaethje against Paddy Pimblett.

The winner is expected to face the returning Ilia Topuria later this year.

Referee Marc Goddard will oversee the “Gaethje vs. Pimblett” main event, according to a report from MMA Fighting, with judges Mike Bell, Derek Cleary and Sal D’Amato scoring the bout from cageside. The 51 year-old Goddard banks $3,000 for his fight night services while the referees pocket $2,600 apiece.

The remaining officials will be determined on Saturday, according to the report.
