Biggest Winner: Mario Bautista

Bautista bounced back nicely after his loss to Umar Nurmagomedov by submitting Oliveira in the second round in what was truly one of his best performances to date. Currently ranked No. 9 in the division, Bautusta has now own nine of his last 10 fights under the UFC banner. The win will get him closer to the Top 5 and assure him a bigger and better matchup in his next outing. He may not have the biggest name, but Bautista is making moves and is ready for his time to shine against the best the division has to offer.

Runner Up: Kyoji Horiguchi

In just two fights inside the Octagon since his return to the promotion, Horiguchi has quickly reminded everyone why he is a legit threat at 125 pounds, winning back-to-back outings in the span of three months, including his big win over Albazi, the No. 6 ranked Flyweight in the game. The win will likely catapult Horiguchi into the Top 5 and closer to a his dream of fighting for a UFC world title.

Biggest Loser: Alex Morono

Coming into the event, Morono was our fighter who needed a win the most seeing as how he was coming in on a three-fight losing streak. Unfortunately for “The Great White,” things went from bad to worse after going 15 minutes with Daniil Donchenko, who took home a unanimous decision win after controlling the entire fight. For Morono, losing his fourth in a row —five of his last six — has likely sealed his fate of getting cut because the UFC powers that be aren’t shy when it comes trimming the bloated roster.
