Gina Carano and Ronda Rousey are going to headline a special Netflix MMA card on Sat., May 16, 2026 from inside Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. Despite holding gold in the bantamweight division, Rousey will move up to 145 pounds for her five-round main event against “Conviction.”
Netflix posted their first official face off earlier this morning.
Rousey has been out of action for more than nine years, while Carano has been MIA since 2009.
“Been waiting so long to announce this,” Rousey said in today’s release. “Me and Gina Carano are gonna throw down in the biggest super fight in women’s combat sport history! And we’re partnering with the fighter-first promotion MVP as well as the biggest and baddest streamer on the planet Netflix. This is for all MMA fans past, present and future. Considering Rousey is 39 and Carano is 43, I would definitely say it’s for MMA fans past.

A special kickoff press conference is scheduled for March 5 at Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.
